News for 2008-09 Applicants

The University of Cincinnati has experienced an unprecedented number of applications for Autumn 2008. While we are very pleased with the growing level of interest in UC, we are approaching maximum capacity for the Uptown Campus for new freshmen.

Many majors are now closed to admission for fall 2008.  Applications are still being accepted for open programs at the Uptown campus and for programs at our branch campuses, Raymond Walters College and Clermont College. Admission to winter quarter may be available for certain programs.

Earlier Deadlines for Fall 2008

Priority Deadline for Scholarships:
Students who wish to be considered for Cincinnatus Scholarships must complete their applications by December 15. This is a full month earlier than previous years.

DAAP Deadlines:
The application deadline for Architecture, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design and Digital Design, is now November 15.

New Online Application Is Live

Students applying for Fall 2008 admission may begin applying August 1, 2007. We are making enhancements to our online application and ask that all students apply online if possible. This reflects the trend in online applications at UC and elsewhere. The majority of UC students apply online, so we are removing the paper application from our 08-09 Viewbook. We will make paper and PDF versions available to high school counselors. Download the PDF or contact your UC admissions representative for a supply. Students will need a Visa, Discover or MasterCard to pay the application fee online. It will be possible for low-income students with fee waivers to complete their application online.
