New International Application Procedures
Application Fees for International Students Living Outside the U.S.
The new application fee for international undergraduate students applying outside the US will be $100 effective February 17, 2009.
However, students who apply through our Official Representatives will only be charged a $40 application fee.
Students Transferring from a Foreign University
The University of Cincinnati requires undergraduate students transferring from a university outside the United States to submit a course-by-course credit evaluation with their application materials. This credit evaluation will be required before an admissions decision can be made.
Students may use any credit evaluator that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, which includes World Education Services.
This course-by-course evaluation will benefit students because:
- Students will own the course-by-course credit evaluation and can send it to any US university to which they are applying.
- The report will increase the student’s chances of transferring in credit from the foreign university, which could help the student graduate faster and save a considerable amount of money.
- Students who have earned the equivalent of a 3.25 GPA – as determined by the course-by-course evaluation – will be eligible for the UC Global Scholarship, valued up to $7,000 per year and is renewable for up to four years.
- NOTE: If the evaluation organization includes copies of the student's university transcripts with the evaluation, the student does not need to submit official university transcripts to UC. If the evaluation
