Experiential Learning

UC academic programs are designed to help you integrate theory with practice. Our goal is to help you graduate with work experience that will compliment your UC degree. Depending on your major, you can take advantage of one or more experiential learning options.

Division of Professional Practice
Advises co-op students and serves as a liaison between students, faculty and co-op employers. Arranges international co-op.

UC International Programs
(previously called the Institute for Global Studies and Affairs) coordinates study abroad, exchange programs and international scholarships. 

Center for Exploratory Studies
Provides experiences to help UC students decide on a major.

Center for Community Engagement
Organizes experiences such as Alternative Spring Break.

Center for Service Learning
Offers service learning opportunities in off-campus settings.

Career Development Center
Provides comprehensive career services for UC students and alumni


 

Architecture Students Build Experience with Prestigious Venice Co-op
Architecture students Sean Cottengim and Jordan Parrott are currently on co-op, working in Venice, Italy, preparing for the architecture world's most prestigious event: the Venice Architectural Biennale.
