Overview

The University of Cincinnati Nutrition & Dietetics major provides a strong foundation in nutrition, food science, medical nutrition therapy, health promotion, and wellness. This top-ranked program blends science and behavioral studies, preparing you to become an expert in food, nutrition, and disease prevention and management.  

As a Nutrition & Dietetics student, you will have the opportunity to explore specialized areas of nutrition, including sports nutrition, community nutrition, and clinical dietetics, through coursework and experiential learning. The program equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to support individuals and communities in achieving optimal health through evidence-based nutrition strategies.  

At UC, you can fast-track your future through our 5-year Accelerated Dietitian Nutritionist pathway! You’ll earn both your Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and finish your supervised practice, all in just 5 years instead of 7. That means saving time, cutting costs, and stepping into your career 2 years early!

Students who complete the entirety of Tier 1 with a C- or above in all courses will be eligible for a $2,000 scholarship upon acceptance and matriculation to Nutrition and Dietetics
