Overview

As the first college in the country to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program more than 100 years ago, UC remains committed to pushing the boundaries of nursing education to ensure our graduates are empowered to think critically, advocate for patients and the profession and raise the standard of health care for all.

Our direct admission BSN program prepares competent, confident and culturally sensitive nurses to provide all patients with the best care possible and to serve our community as responsible, compassionate caregivers and leaders in the nursing profession.  As part of the UC Academic Health Center (medical campus), our clinical partners include a Level I trauma center, Level III obstetric unit, the nation's No. 1 pediatric hospital and multiple outpatient surgery centers and community hospitals.
